Formada em 93 por Julio Wojciechowski e Agnaldo Gomes em sua longa trajetória, dividiu palcos com grandes nomes da cena nacional como Dorsal Atlantica, Amen Corner, Sextrash, Ratos de Porão e internacional como Anathema (UK), Legion of the Dammed (Holanda) entre outros. Seu primeiro registro a demo-tape “Anastenárides” em 94, logo em seguida a promo-tape “Travelling Free...” em 95. Já em 96 seu debut álbum “Gathered by...”, uma arte vanguardista, visceral e densa que misturou influências do doom metal, blues, atmospheric, progressivo e gothic rock, associado a um conteúdo lírico que guia o ouvinte para um mundo de sentimentos que oscilam entre a realidade e a transcendência da alma. Após um longo hiato, a Serpent Rise, disponibiliza aos seus fãs e apreciadores seu primeiro álbum remasterizado e retrabalhado com co-produção com Loudness Art estudio. Atualmente a banda conta com seus membros fundadores e músicos que viabilizam as apresentações ao vivo.

In 96 the debut album “Gathered by ...”, an avant-garde, visceral and dense art that mixed influences of doom metal, blues, atmospheric, progressive and gothic rock, associated with a lyrical content that guides the listener to a world of feelings that oscillate between reality and the transcendence of the soul. After a long hiatus, Serpent Rise offers to the fans and appreciators its first remastered and reworked album co-produced by Loudness Art Studio. Currently the band has their founder members and musicians who make live performances possible.
